Meet the Founder

Hi, my name is Dajah Small hence Small Moves . I was born and raised in Miami. I’m a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and Pilates Instructor.

When I’m not in somebody’s class, I enjoy pizza, jerk pasta, wine, girl talk, Pilates, chugging matcha, and learning about women’s health.

I’ve walked this journey myself — navigating chronic low back pain, bladder incontinence, and pelvic floor weakness. TRUST I know firsthand how isolating and confusing it can feel, especially when these conversations are treated like taboo.

After 8 years of working in home health and outpatient settings, I realized how often women’s health, especially pelvic health, is overlooked or misunderstood.

That’s why I founded Small Moves, Pilates and Fitness. I combine evidence-based physical therapy techniques with Pilates, yoga-inspired movement, and lifestyle education to help women manage issues like leakage, pelvic pain, diastasis recti, and postpartum recovery and menopause, all while rebuilding confidence and strength.

My goal is simple, to help you feel at home in your body again. Every session is personalized, educational, and rooted in compassion, so you leave not only feeling better, but also understanding your body on a deeper level.
